Salzburg has its "Mozartkugel", Vienna now its "ViennaSphere" - equipped by VIOSO. Purchased by WienTourismus the inflateable dome (provided by Isphere Ltd. Artprojects) with a diameter of 22 meters tours the continent to promote the European Song Contest taking place in Austria May 19th-23rd 2015. Barcelona made the beginning, Paris, London, Mailand and Berlin were following.

An orchestre of 6 beamers plays a 15-minutes 3D-show on the in- and outside of this real big ball. Impressive 360-degree-shots show (among other things) the Staatsoper, the Spanische Hofreitschule, the Ringstraße and, of course, Austrias export number one, Conchita Wurst – larger than life. She sings "Rise Like a Phoenix", her winnig titel from last year's ESC.

The extensive installation is possible because of a technical innovation of VIOSO from Duessldorf. Dome is being calibrated in less than 10 minutes by the use of a single fisheye-camera. The software Anyblend integrates 6 WUXGA-Beamers in the ViennaSphere to a single picture in double 4K-resolution. Without this feature a projection of this flexibility, size and quality would not be possisble.
